Anyone who is interested may apply to join our Program Approval Committee. If you know someone with an education background who might be interested, please share this information with them.
What does the Committee do?
The Program Approval Committee supports our College’s responsibility for program approval by:
- reviewing dental assisting education principles and program approval policies and procedures
- recommending granting or removing approval status of Alberta-located dental assisting programs and courses
- monitoring programs and courses for compliance with the dental assisting education principles and program approval policies
What do we expect of Committee members?
Committee members are responsible for:
- maintaining and respecting confidentiality
- complying with and supporting the Program Approval Policies
- participating in committee meetings and training workshops
- communicating and collaborating with other committee members and College support staff
How do I apply?

- Complete the application form and declaration of conflict of interest.
