“Personal Services” Permitted

CMOH Order O7-2020 defines “personal service” as:

“…for the primary purpose of enhancing, preserving or altering the person’s appearance.”

The Province announced that Stage 2 of Alberta’s relaunch strategy starts on June 12, 2020. In Stage 2 “personal services (esthetics, cosmetics skin and body treatments, manicures, pedicures, waxing, facial treatments, artificial tanning) can open with restrictions.”

Therefore, cosmetic services such as teeth-whitening are permitted starting June 12.
