Help Us Welcome Jasmine and Nicole

August 1, 2023

Our staff team is growing! We are excited to welcome Jasmine Chandi and Nicole Stuckless to the College.

Meet Jasmine

Jasmine Chandi is our newest Regulatory Compliance Advisor (RCA), filling the position after Jill Bateman moved into the Competence & Registration Manger role. Joining Luanne and Tami, our other RCAs, Jasmine is here to help you when you have questions about the rules and requirements for dental assistants.

A dedicated professional with a diverse background in dentistry, Jasmine strives to expand her horizons and embrace new experiences. Having a passion for continued learning makes her a great fit in the RCA role, which includes supporting dental assistants in our Continuing Competence Program.

Beyond dentistry, Jasmine is equally enthusiastic about giving back to the community. She volunteers with local organizations, actively participating in outreach activities and projects focused on increasing awareness and access to care, food and clothes for underprivileged communities. In her leisure time, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature and learning new skills. She has recently started learning to sing. She shares her favourite quote, “Embrace the journey, find joy in the little things, and let positivity be your guiding light.”

Together, Jasmine, Luanne and Tami will inform and support the professional practice of dental assistants. They will answer your questions, help you understand requirements and interpret legislation as it applies to dental assisting practice.

Meet Nicole

Nicole Stuckless is joining our team as Administrative Assistant. She will be providing general administrative support for our organization and our staff team.

With more than a decade of experience in the administrative field, and frequent professional development activities, Nicole has a variety of skills to draw on. In particular, she was recently working with another college, gaining a solid understanding of health profession regulation. Her combination of experience, knowledge and a focus on continued growth will be a great asset in this role.

Outside of work hours, we’ll probably find her outdoors enjoying activities like hiking, skiing and gardening. She loves animals and spends time volunteering with the Champion Animal Welfare Society.

Nicole says, “I’m excited to start a new chapter with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants and look forward to applying my knowledge to my new position.”

As the first point of contact when you call our office or reach out through our general email, Nicole will be happy to help you or direct you to the help you need.
