Late last week Premier Jason Kenny announced that Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan moves into Stage 3 on Thursday, July 1. Stage 3 includes lifting all restrictions and the Province will be providing additional details before we enter this Stage.
Dental Assistants must continue to follow the current Dental Practice Guidelines During the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Guidelines remain in effect until further notice.
The Guidelines are being reviewed. Meanwhile, Alberta Health is making the necessary changes for reopening. The government will be providing health regulatory colleges with details about the requirements that healthcare settings must keep in place during and after Stage 3 of Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan. The Guidelines will be updated as needed.
