Impacts of COVID-19 on HCW
Statistics Canada wants to understand the impacts of COVID-19 on Canadian health care workers, with particular focus on access to PPE and IPC measures in the workplace. Complete their short questionnaire by December 13, 2020.

Performing COVID-19 Tests
Dental assistants who are redeployed to help conduct COVID-19 testing may, after appropriate training, perform some, but not all, swabs for COVID-19 testing.
Administering Medications
Dental assistants may not administer drugs to patients. However, they may give certain medicinal substances to patients under the direction and supervision of a dentist.
