Officers of Council
Officers serve for a one-year term. Their roles are defined in our Governance Policies.
The officers are elected by the members of Council from within Council. Leading up to the end of a Council year, the Chair calls for letters of intent. In addition to their letters, the candidates may make a brief presentation. Except for those being considered for a given role, Council members discuss the needs of each role and the respective candidates, then vote to elect the officers.
