The new suite of governance policies clarifies where governance direction is set, where administrative authority is exercised, and how supporting instruments are used in practice. Together, they strengthen role clarity and support more consistent oversight by clarifying decision rights, authority relationships, and the boundaries between governance and administration.

Provides the strategic architecture for the governance system by clarifying decision rights, authority relationships, and the boundaries between governance and administration. This supports more consistent decision-making, stronger accountability, and clearer role discipline.
GOV-POL-002 through 007
Operationalize the framework through clear governance expectations that strengthen Council’s oversight role, support transparency, and create a more coherent basis for delegation, committee work, risk oversight, and accountability.
Policy review
In addition to the governance policy suite, we are reviewing and applying the new framework to all of our policies to enhance public transparency, accountability, and audit readiness. Through the review, we will strengthen our policy alignment with the acts, regulations, bylaws and standards that govern our College and profession. We will also strengthen the connection between Council’s governance role and the Registrar & CEO’s operational responsibilities.
