The interim Canada Dental Benefit is a measure of the Government of Canada to address cost barriers to dental care for families in Canada. With this benefit, which will run until 2024, you can start addressing some of the basic dental care that your young children need.
It will be available for your children under 12 if your family has an adjusted net income of less than $90,000 and you do not have access to private dental insurance.
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will process applications and payments for the benefit. They will start accepting applications on December 1, 2022.
