Since our September 2026 update on Council activities, Council met once for their regular meeting in October. These are Council’s activities since our last update:
2025–30 Strategic Plan
In September, Council participated in a strategic plan review session and the consultant proposed revisions affecting the plan’s four goals. Following an update on progress toward achieving the goals, Council discussed the proposed revisions. Discussion centred around ensuring the plan clearly reflects Council’s direction and that further work is needed before updating the plan.
