Help us reshape the CCP!
In October, we’re hosting virtual Focus Groups to gather information for our review of the Continuing Competence Program (CCP). In these Focus Groups, we hope to learn about your experience with the CCP. We want to know what works, and what doesn’t, so we can make the CCP better.
Dental assistants, sign up today for your chance to have your voice heard, hear the discussion, and be part of this review.
You can choose from these virtual Focus Group opportunities:
October 20, noon-1:00 PM – Sign Up
October 24, 3:30-4:30 PM – Sign Up
October 26, 5:30-6:30 PM, recent graduates and new registrants since 2018* – Sign Up
*Recent graduates and new registrants, your input is important too! We hope you sign up for the October 26th Focus Group so we can hear your valuable insight.
To help make it more effective, we are doing an in-depth review of the CCP. It involves collecting information from our communities and researching trends in continuing competence in Alberta, Canada, and internationally.
Collecting input is essential to help us reach our goals:
- making the CCP more user-friendly for dental assistants and more manageable for us
- helping dental assistants with clear ways to advance their practice with the CCP
- making the CCP more measurable for dental assistants and for us
These goals will enhance the CCP, which will improve dental assistants’ participation and outcomes. It all contributes to better experiences for patients.
Your feedback will help us get the best possible result. Watch our website for more chances to offer input. We want to hear from you!
