When you’re applying to practice in another jurisdiction or profession, you may be asked to provide the regulatory/licensing body with verification of your standing with us. Some employers may also ask for this.
How to request verification of standing
To request verification of standing, please submit a request to us.
If your practice permit is current or suspended
- sign in to our portal
- complete and submit a Verification of Standing Request
If your practice permit and registration are cancelled:
- complete this Verification of Standing Request and Consent for Release of Information form
- submit your completed form to the College by mail, courier or in person to:

If the regulatory/licensing body requires a form, please ensure you provide a copy of the form to us with your request. There’s an administrative fee of $25.00 plus GST for each letter/form and each province/organization.
What you can expect
We’ll prepare your letter of standing or form within 10 business days. Note that we will send your verification of standing directly to the regulatory/licensing body on your behalf.
